One of the top viral videos for the week is one inspiring video touting the Internet as the logical choice to win this year's Nobel Peace Prize. It's called "Take Part in the Debate" and is a nice piece of video from both a production and messaging standpoint. It talks about how it connects us all and being connected is one of the best ways to eliminate hate and prejudice. The video then invites you to make your own video and you could win a trip to New York to be one of the Ambassadors for peace for the Internet.
We first saw the video thanks to an Ad Age article touting it as in the top 10 viral videos this week. Further digging found the site where you could join the movement. And then a Mashable article on how Wired magazine in Italy is the force behind the nomination. So, check out the video and then tell us what you think about the video, the movement, the possibility of "the Internet" winning the Nobel prize or whatever other conversation this sparks.
