What do you get when you combine a 70's cops and robbers chase scene, Toonses the driving cat and the Geico answer guy? You get this week's very funny ad of the week. I know we've featured Geico's commercials before, but they just keep coming up with more great stuff we love.
In this one, it follows the typical guy on set asking if Geico saves you money and then he asks rhetorically, "do dogs chase cats?" We cut to a 70's style chase scene, driving wildly through some city's streets. When the shots cut in to see the drivers, one is a driving cat, who could be Morris the cat's son. The other is a big bruiser dog, driving the car doing the chasing.
I saw it last night and busted out laughing. It's yet another good additionto a fun campaign. Hopefully, you'll find it amusing, too.
