Who doesn't love two little girls completely plastering their sleeping grandfather's head with beauty cream? That's the very funny conclusion of the latest spot for Walmart.
Last week, we talked about the resurgance of storytelling in advertising with the complex and legendary stories Jamison's Whiskey tells. This week's ad is storytelling of a different kind. It's a simple story of everyday life that we all can relate to. Young kids sometimes take the things we tell them very literally. And the results are often unintentionally hilarious.
In this case, two young girls are watching their mom put on some anti-aging cream. they ask her what it's for. She tells them that it makes her look younger and they ask if it really works. The mom says yes. Cut to the two girls slathering grandpa's head with a thick coat of the stuff while he sleeps on the couch. It's a very funny scene and the girls pull it off deftly. Enjoy.

It’s hard to come by experienced people on this topic, but you seem like you know what you’re talking about! Thanks
Write more, thats all I have to say. Literally, it seems as though you relied on the video to make your point. You obviously know what youre talking about, why throw away your intelligence on just posting videos to your site when you could be giving us something informative to read?
I think what you said was actually very logical. But, consider this, suppose you wrote a catchier post title? I ain’t suggesting your information isn’t good, but what if you added something to maybe get folk’s attention? I mean Ad of the Week: Walmart – Younger Skin – Yaffe Tidbits is kinda boring. You should peek at Yahoo’s home page and note how they create post headlines to grab viewers to open the links. You might try adding a video or a related pic or two to get people excited about everything’ve got to say. Just my opinion, it could bring your posts a little bit more interesting.
This page really has all the information and facts I wanted concerning this subject and didn’t know who to ask.
Thanks very interesting blog!
