Who doesn't love to see a used car salesman get the crap scared out of him on a harrowing test drive? That's basically the premise of this Pepsl Max video. NASCAR race driver Jeff Gordon disguises himself and sets up an unsuspecting car salesman for a hidden camera ride of his life. And frankly, you can't help but laugh as the test drive unfolds.
At first, Gordon plays a timid guy who's not sure if he can handle the amount of power in the used Camaro he's looking at. Then, with a hidden camera in his Pepsi can and his glasses, he goes on a test drive. At first he seems to have trouble getting the car going. Then he suddenly starts putting it though paces that would make any stunt driver proud.
The poor salesman gets scared, then outright angry with the crazy driving. Calling Gordon an idiot and threatening to call the cops when they get back. Afterward, Gordon reveals it's a prank and the salesperson is ready to go again. It's an engaging video and plays off the live life to the Max premise of Pepsi Max, although I'm not sure it's a perfect fit of product and premise. Take a look and tell me what you think.
