Maybe it's the beer lover in me. Maybe it's that I did go through the whole wine thing with my wife back in the day. But this spot connected with me and is just plain fun.
It opens up with all these scenes of guys in the 80's (love the hair and costuming) pretending to be into wine, because that's what everyone – especially their gals, was into. But, they're obviously not happy about it. Then, BAM! a new beer that somehow is up to the standards of the snooty wine crowd comes along and frees everyone. Just say no to wine!
Sure, I'm not sure it's a believable premise. Sure, it's over a year old and from New Zealand. But, it's just an enjoyable ad you've probably never seen. So… enjoy!
